3 prayers for our church

1. That our church would be biblical Christians instead of worldly ones, faithful rather than convenient.

Since X went through everything you're going through and more, learn to think like him. Think of your sufferings as a weaning from that old sinful habit of always expecting to get your own way. Then you'll be able to live out your days free to pursue what God wants instead of being tyrannized by what you want. (1 Peter 4:1-2)

Be dressed and ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. (Luke 12:35-36)

They admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. (Hebrews 11:13-14)

Moses chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. (Hebrews 11:25)

2. Sexual purity and chastity for our people

What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. (Romances 6:21-22)

The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous runs to it and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A person reaps what they sow. The one who sows to please the sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction. The one who sows to please the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8)

I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. (Revelation 2:23)

For God to save hundreds of people over the next year, giving us much work to do in equipping and teaching new believers.

When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself. (John 12:32)
