Red sauce recipe

  1. Use san marzano tomatoes.
  2. Boil water and put a bit of salt in it. Put in noodles when the water is boiling and don't break the noodles.
  3. Crush a few cloves of garlic and put them in a pan with some oil.
  4. Take out the garlic and put in diced white onion and oregano, basil, and bay leaf until the onions are translucent.
  5. Put in tomatoes and stir. If the bottom sticks, stop stirring and it's either done or move pans.
  6. Noodles should not be crispy, should not stick in teeth either. 8-10 minutes. Should be able to bite through them easily.
  7. Strain the noodles and put back into a bowl and coat with a little sauce so they don't stick.
